This Morning’s Phillip Schofield praised a global music star for not swearing on the programme today after his past expletive outburst.
World-famous violinist and conductor André Rieu appeared on Tuesday’s installment of This Morning (March 21), with the talented musician talking about his career.
At the end of his chat with Phillip and co-host Holly Willoughby, André was praised for “not swearing”.

“Do you know what’s great?” Phillip asked at the end of the interview.
He then added: “You didn’t swear this time.”
Violinist André then agreed with host Phil when he chuckled and said: “You’re right.”
He added: “You tried me to because you spoke about my teacher,” before laughing again.
Phillip then interjected and explained: “The last time you were on, you made the papers back home.”
“I know,” André agreed before Phillip thanked the musician and segued onto the next segment.

Back in November 2021, André appeared on This Morning when he spoke about his teachers.
At the time he said: “My first teacher was an 18-year-old blonde girl. I was five, and I fell in love with her immediately so it helped a lot.”
“You had two teachers didn’t you? The other one you didn’t like very much,” Holly asked, before explaining that it was his piano teacher.

“I hated her and I hated her castle. I hated the piano,” he admitted, before swearing on live TV when he said: “She was a b***h.”
When it happened, Holly and Phil both burst out laughing, with Holly desperately trying to cover her face.
They then proceeded to apologise to viewers for the expletive that slipped from André’s lips, with André apologising also.
