1000lb Sisters star Amy Slaton’s husband has filed for a divorce shortly after they welcomed their second child together.
According to US Weekly Michael Halterman, 40, has officially started the process after four years of marriage.
Documents obtained by the outlet are thought to show that Michael filed for divorce from the 35-year-old on March 13 in Kentucky.

This comes less than a year after the pair announced the birth of their second child.
Amy said in a statement to Today at the time: “The wait is finally over… Michael and I are happy to announce the birth of our son, Glenn Allen Halterman.

“The delivery was a huge success and now I have both of my miracle boys; our family is complete!”
Fans have flocked to social media after the news of Amy and Michael’s split came out.
One person wrote: “Oh so it was Michael all along?”
Another added: “We saw this coming. They are both better off.”
One upset fan tweeted: “Really? I’m quite surprised and I thought they were the perfect couple.”

It comes after Amy broke down at a family barbecue in a recent episode of the show and fans slammed her “useless” husband.
In the episode, as everyone dug into the barbecue Amy’s son started to get fussy and she took him away from the group to calm him down.
Amy discussed the situation: “Everyone is having fun, having a good old time.

“I’m over here hot as hell, I just recuperated from surgery, I haven’t had much sleep at all, and Gage just won’t stop crying.”
Amy’s sister Amanda told her: “You’re not supposed to be doing this s*** by yourself. You are married and have a husband, and he is supposed to be being a dad too.”
Fans were livid that Michael didn’t help his wife with the children and took to Twitter to complain.
One said: “I wonder if Michael was helpful with Gage? Because if not I’m glad Amy has her family. But the kids aren’t her family’s responsibility. They’re Amy’s and Michael’s. I hope he’s more helpful off-camera.”
