As The Young and the Restless celebrates its 50th anniversary today (March 26, 2023), Daily Star takes a look at the cast members with the biggest net worths.
Lauralee Bell (Christine “Cricket” Blair)
Christine “Cricket” Blair star Lauralee Bell came from TV royalty, as her parents Lee Phillip and William J. Bell created two of the US’ biggest soaps – The Bold and the Beautiful, along with The Young and the Restless.
After making her acting debut as a model in a 1983 episode of The Young and the Restless, Lauralee took on the role of Christine Blair – and the rest as they say, is history.
Her performance has garnered critical acclaim, including winning Outstanding Supporting Actress at the Soap Opera Awards and Favourite Soap Opera Actress at the TEEN Magazine Awards 1989.
Away from the soap, Christine has also won a Daytime Emmy Award for hit web series MI Promise, along with appearing in Diagnosis: Murder, Pacific Blue, Castle and Ruby Landry.
It is no surprise then that Lauralee has the biggest net worth of all the stars in The Young and the Restless, at an eye-watering $200m (£164m).
Eric Braeden (Victor Newman)
Eric Braeden was already a huge star before joining The Young and the Restless in 1980 as long serving character Victor Newman.
He had roles in TV series and films such as The Man From U.N.C.L.E, 100 Rifles, Escape from the Planet of the Apes, Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo, Wonder Woman and Titanic – to name a few.
However he is most famous for playing villain Victor Newman on the popular US soap, winning a Daytime Emmy for his role in 1998.
As one of the longest serving cast members and with a long, successful acting career, Eric has since amassed an estimated net worth of $25m (£20.5m).
Daniel Goddard (Cane Ashby)
Cane Ashby actor Daniel Goddard is a familiar face to The Young and the Restless viewers – but did you know that he got his big break on another soap?
He landed his debut TV role on Australia’s Home and Away as Eric Phillips – a soap that has launched the careers of huge Hollywood stars including Marvel icon Chris Hemsworth.
From there it has been onwards and upwards for Daniel, with the actor appearing in BeastMaster between 1999 to 2002, before landing his famous role on The Young and the Restless.
Away from acting, Daniel has also led a successful career as a model for brands including Calvin Klein and Dolce & Gabbana.
Between his acting and modelling career, the star’s net worth is unsurprisingly a jaw-dropping $16.7m (£13.7m).
Christel Khalili (Lily Winters)
Christel Khalili stars as Lily Winters in The Young and the Restless, after forging a career as a child actress from the age of six years old.
Fans might recognise her from some of the most famous films and TV shows, including 1996’s Matilda, children’s series That’s So Raven and W.I.T.C.H, along with Malcolm in the Middle.
Alongside her role on The Young and the Reckless, she has starred in 2 Broke Girls, We Need to Talk and Bedlam.
It is no surprise then that the Daytime Emmy Award winner is joint with her co-star Daniel Goddard too, after amassing a huge net worth of $16.7m (£13.7m).
Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott)
American acting icon Peter Bergman has taken on some of the most iconic roles in US TV history, including Jack Abbott in The Young and the Reckless.
However, he had a rival soap role as Dr. Cliff Warner in All My Children between 1979 to 1989, before playing another doctor on General Hospital.
As one of the most famous soap actors, Peter has been nominated a staggering 25 times for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama series at the Daytime Emmy Awards – and has won four accolades at the ceremony.
Along with his soap fame, Peter also appeared on The Nanny and comedy series The King Of Queens – landing a gigantic $10m (£8.2m) net worth in the process.
Gina Tognoni (Phyllis Summer)
Gina Tognoni is the third actress to play Phyllis Summer in The Young and the Restless, after taking over from Sandra Nelson and Michelle Stafford.
It is not her only soap role though, as Gina has appeared as Kelly Cramer in One Life to Live and Dinah Marler in Guiding Light, for which she won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2006 and 2008.
She has also had guest roles on Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, The Sopranos, In the Family and Venice.
Along with four nominations at the Soap Opera Digest Awards and five nominations at the Daytime Emmy Awards, Gina also has an estimated net worth of $9m (£7.4m).
