There’s plenty of celebrities who’ve had some pretty weird careers before their fame.
Angelina Jolie had plans to become a funeral director, a young Hugh Jackman worked as a clown and Christopher Walken even spent time as a lion tamer in his teens.
But one Hollywood star with a reputation for playing the tough guy looked almost unrecognisable in unearthed videos from his pre-fame career.

Jason Statham is best known for his roles in big thrillers and gangster films.
But long before the 55-year-old actor rose to fame for his portrayals of special agents and violent criminals, Statham had actually appeared as a much-less threatening character in the background of a music video.
In his youth, the former professional diver and model featured in the 1992 video for Comin’ On by The Shamen.
During the bizarre video, a 25-year-old Statham appears wearing nothing but a tiny pair of leopard-print pants that leave very little to the imagination.
A surreal scene sees Statham’s muscular figure duplicated as he stands dancing atop a pile of mushrooms in the skimpy costume.
His arms flail about as he passionately shakes his heavily oiled-up body during the lively routine.
In case viewers hadn’t seen enough of his half-naked body, he then appears duplicated even more later on in the video.
Nine of Statham’s gyrating figures appear dancing in synch to the psychedelic music.
It’s not the only raunchy music video a scantily-clad Statham has appeared in.
Just two years later, he also featured in the video for Erasure’s Run to the Sun.

For this one, he’d ditched the wild print underpants in favour of metallic silver and bronze pairs — with his entire body painted to match.
A statuesque Statham stands atop a boulder on a giant rotating solar-system model, his metallic-painted muscles glistening in the light.
Jason’s career as a nearly-nude backing dancer was cut short after this when he was cast in his debut role as Bacon in the 1998 film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.
The film quickly catapulted his acting career and he went on to rise to fame with appearances in films like the Transporter trilogy, The Bank Job and Spy before taking on roles in The Expendables series and Fast & Furious franchise.
In his most recent endeavour, the actor has continued to uphold his hard-man reputation, taking on the role of elite spy Orson Fortune in the recently released action comedy Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre.
