Eurovision legend Sonia is set to star on Hollyoaks.
The singer filmed a cameo appearance for the Channel 4 soap last week.
A show insider said: “Everyone was so excited to have Sonia on set. A lot of the cast are big fans of her.”
Sonia’s appearance will air as part of a Eurovision-themed episode in May.

Fans will get to see her to belt out her 1993 entry Better The Devil You Know, which scored her second place at the contest.
The insider added: “When producers decided to do a Eurovision episode, they knew Sonia would be perfect as she’s a local girl and one of the the UK’s most successful entrants ever.
“And her performance was fantastic. It went down a storm. Fans are going to love it.”
The special episode is being made to celebrate this year’s Eurovision being staged in Liverpool — just miles from the soap’s set.
It’s the first time it’s been in the UK since it was held in Birmingham in 1998.
Our act this year is rising star Mae Muller with her entry I Wrote A Song.
It comes just weeks after RuPaul’s Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard appeared in Hollyoaks village and performed to Chester residents.
The performer appeared in two episodes of the Channel 4 soap earlier this month.
Fans will be delighted to know that Danny isn’t ruling out a return to Hollyoaks in the near future.
He previously told Daily Star: “”Luckily I’ve not been killed off so I could come back at some point.
“Danny Beard would live in Hollyoaks forever. You just never know where i’ll pop up now.
“There’s no reason why I won’t be going to Chester for a couple.”
Hollyoaks airs weekdays on Channel 4 at 6.30pm and first look episodes on E4 at 7pm
