Margot Robbie’s latest Barbie snaps have the internet all saying the same thing – that she’s the perfect blonde bombshell for the role.
Greta Gerwig’s latest film sees Margot take centre stage as Barbie with Ryan Gosling as her Ken – and if the posters are anything to go by, the movie is going to be stunning.
In a new snap, Margot can be seen in a very skimpy blue-and-white striped crochet top – which also happened to be completely backless.

The halter-neck top was tied together with string, and Margot added a chunky blue beaded bracelet and matching polka-dot headband as she let her curly blonde hair fall past her shoulders.
In one snap, Margot lounged in Barbie’s bright pink Chevrolet parked outside her Dreamhouse, lounging up against the windscreen as she grinned playfully for the camera.
The Hollywood star has donned a series of iconic Barbie outfits over the course of the film’s teaser trailer, and was spotted wearing a strapless black-and-white striped swimsuit and retro white shades as she headed for the beach.
Margot left her toned legs on full display as she added a pair of gold hoop earrings and painted her lips a bright scarlet for the sultry shoot.
In a new character profile released ahead of the movie, Margot could be seen lying on the ground in her swimsuit as she playfully lifted her shades above her head, alongside Gosling’s Ken in an open striped pastel button-up.
The star-studded cast for the film also includes Emma Mackey as a Barbie who holds a “Nobel prize in physics”, Doctor Who star Ncuti Gatwa as a county Ken who loves to play guitar, Sex Education icon Connor Swindells and even Dua Lipa.
Dua is starring as mermaid Barbie, along with recording the theme song for the live-action film – which also marks her acting debut.

Little is known about the actual plot of the film, with a summary teasing: “After being expelled from ‘Barbieland’ for being a less-than-perfect doll, Barbie sets off for the human world to find true happiness”.
Filmed with a budget of $100million, the Warner Bros. flick was written by Lady Bird director Greta and her partner Noah Baumbach.
