Paul Cattermole unexpected second job away from S Club 7 unveiled after tragic death

S Club 7 member Paul Cattermole worked as a tarot reader in a surprising career move after leaving the pop group in 2002.

The 46-year-old sadly passed away on Thursday (April 6) afternoon, with his friends, family and former bandmates sharing that “while the cause of death is currently unknown.

Dorset Police has confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances.”

The official S Club 7 social media account released a statement shortly after his death was announced.

“We are truly devastated by the passing of our brother Paul,” they wrote. “There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel.

“We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have.

“He will be so deeply missed by each and every one of us. We ask that you respect the privacy of his family and of the band at this time.”

Before his death, Paul and the six other members – Hannah Spearritt, Rachel Stevens, Tina Barrett, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh and Jo O’Meara – had agreed to reunite for a reunion tour starting in October.

The new tour would take place in both the UK and Ireland, including Leeds, Birmingham, Nottingham and London.

Paul had previously been working as a tarot reader after selling his Brit Award for £60,000 on eBay, telling fans he was “skint” and working odd jobs to make ends meet.

He worked as a station manager and, returning to TV work, he also appeared on First Dates Hotel in 2019 but let as his date failed to recognise him.

Paul had a YouTube channel dedicated to his readings

Paul’s Instagram shows his online tarot services and psychic predictions where he promoted weekly tarot readings depending on your star sign.

On his YouTube account, he shared powerful manifestations and messages of collective ascension to his 2.02K subscribers.
