This Morning has been slammed by Britain’s Got Talent winner George Sampson for “encouraging” the controversial behaviour at theatres.
It comes after security were forced to remove two women who were singing and screaming during a recent performance of The Bodyguard in Manchester.
Police rushed to the Palace Theatre after members of the audience began singing over the top of performers despite signs around the auditorium asking the public not to sing along.

The production was paused during its first act as a group of people were taken away and the show then had to be stopped early after cops were called 10 minutes before its finale.
This Morning stars Alison Hammond and Vanessa Feltz debated whether audience members should be allowed to jsing along at a musical live on the ITV daytime show last week.
Alison said: “”Staff are taking this very, very seriously and inflicting these rules.
“They are regularly walking up and down the aisles before the performance and during the interval with ‘no singing’ signs I mean, I can’t believe it, I’d be devastated.
Vanessa added: “Isn’t the whole point of going to a musical that you know, that you sing along to all the bits you know, and then when you don’t know the words, you just make them up?
“I mean, isn’t that what everybody does? Very, very loudly while eating an ice cream.”
Discussing the comments made on This Morning, dancer turned musical theatre star George took to Twitter to share his thoughts.
He penned: “People just behave how they want, where they want, probably doesn’t help that @thismorning are encouraging this behaviour.
George, who won the second series of BGT in 2008, replied to further comments on social media, explaining his stance on the subject.
“Watching it is the enjoyment, same as the cinema, same as a opera, or a ballet…,” he replied to someone who said: “Sit down. Shut up and listen. Don’t attempt to enjoy yourself.”
“If a venue or production is going to have rules on enjoyment then they need to make that clear beforehand,” commented another Twitter user.
George replied: “They do have rules, to sit and watch. If they want you to sing along or allow other things such as, it will be made clear during the show.
“An ovation and reaction to a number is completely different to the audience joining in. Just say you don’t know how to behave in theatres m8.”
George took on the role of Dean in Everybody’s Talking About Jamie where he toured around the UK and America.
Alison has since taken to Twitter to apologise to fans for her remarks.
She penned: “After reflection and the comments I made on Wednesday’s show I want to apologise to anyone who I offended especially the incredibly talented theatre performers, who I have the utmost respect for.
“I had no idea the level of disruption audiences were causing and tried to make light of the topic on Wednesday’s show, and for that I’m truly sorry.
She added: “I am a great supporter of theatre and the arts and would never sing at the top of my lungs at any performance, I was wrong in what I said and I’ve given this a lot of thought over the past few days and believe I was wrong.
