Taylor Swift reportedly crossed the Atlantic and headed for Liverpool to shoot her new music video.
The singer made the trip last week and visited Scouse landmarks including St George’s Hall and the Cunard Building. A source said that Taylor was inspired by the recent Batman movie starring Robert Pattinson and featuring the same buildings.
Hollywood actress Joey King is set to appear in the music video after starring in another of Taylor’s track videos as a child.

A source told the Sun: “Taylor loves the history of the landmarks and was excited to film somewhere completely different and unexpected.
“She had a break in her touring schedule so decided to use the time to get another video in the bag. She’s feeling more creative and inspired than ever.
“Her shoot was an incredibly slick operation, with little fuss. Staff on site were politely asked not to have their phones on them and to sign non-disclosure agreements,” they said.
Taylor’s UK trip comes after she reportedly “split” from her boyfriend Joe Alwyn.
An insider told Page Six that the breakup wasn’t “dramatic” and happened “a few weeks ago.”
“The relationship had just run its course,” they said. “It’s why [Alwyn] hasn’t been spotted at any shows.”
However, People Magazine published conflicting reports which said that “everything was fine” between the pair and that Joe has been “super supportive” of Taylor’s career.
“Joe will travel with her [on tour] when he can,” the insider said. “They are great together. Joe is super supportive of her career.”
Taylor’s relationship with Joe has been less public than her previous relationships. He opened up about the couple’s dedication to privacy.
“I’m aware people want to know about that side of things,” he said. “I think we have been successfully very private, and that has now sunk in for people.”
