Hilary Swank has announced she has given birth to adorable twins – a boy and a girl.
Taking to Instagram, the P.S I Love You star, 48, shared the joyous news on Easter Sunday as she posted a gorgeous snap of her holding her newborn babies.
The twins are the actors first children, who she welcomed with her second husband Philip Schneider.

She captioned the memorable moment: “It wasn’t easy. But boy (and girl!) was it worth it. Happy Easter! Posting from pure Heaven.”
The Academy Award-winning actress soon received an outpour of support from her famous friends and loyal legion of fans online.
Law and Order star Mariska Hargitay penned: “Welcome home angels” as Viola Davis added: “Aaaaahhhh!!!!!! Congratulations.”
Sharon Stone echoed: “God bless honey. This is the most extraordinary journey ever so happy for you all.”
The brunette beauty has since shared their special link to her late father Stephen Michael Swank, who sadly passed away in October 2021.
It is understood Hilary had been her father’s sole carer for several years in the lead up to his death after he received a lung transplant.
Reflecting on her pregnancy, the new mum revealed her twins were due to arrive on April 16 which was her dad’s birthday.

Before she met her husband Philip, the Hollywood star was previously married to Chad Lowe from 1997 to 2007.
Back in 2006, the star shared her family plans with the actor before the pair split one year later.
She said: “I definitely would like kids someday. That’s definitely something that I’ve always thought about as a very, very young girl.”
After their divorce, Hilary moved on in different relationships with Hollywood agent John Campisi and athlete Ruben Torres before she met Philip, with the couple tying the knot in 2016.
