Taylor Swift’s fans are fuming with a “sexist” advert by Starbucks.
The coffeehouse was forced to apologise to the Shake It Off singer, 33, after her loyal fans blasted the organisation as “gross” and “misogynistic” for mocking Taylor’s recent breakup.
Things ended between Taylor and her boyfriend of six years, Joe Alwyn, after their relationship reportedly “had run its course”.

Following the news of the breakup, one store attempted to make light of the situation and put up a sign asking their customers: “Which Taylor Swift ex are you?”
The options available all listed Taylor’s former exes, which include: Harry Styles, Joe Jonas, Tom Hiddleston, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal, Calvin Harris and Joe Alwyn.
Each celebrity’s name had a drink option underneath, such as hot vanilla latte and decaf americano.
Sharing a picture of the sign on Twitter, Swifties criticised Starbucks and said the promotion was done “in such poor taste.”
One fuming fan wrote: “This is so gross @starbucks wtf ???”

“Which location is this??? I want to give a one-star rating to this place,” another said, while a third insisted: “Okay, where is this? I’m kicking it down.”
“The way people are immediately going back to the misogynistic comments about her dating life as if she didn’t just get out of a 6-year relationship??!! Like, I thought we were done with that. This is so sad,” a fourth commented.
Following the fury, Starbucks issued a statement and assured people that the sign had been removed.
“Thank you for bringing this to our attention. This certainly doesn’t uphold our mission and values, and the sign been taken down by the store,” they tweeted.
Taylor and British actor Joe began dating after Taylor’s public split from Marvel actor Tom Hiddleston.
She and Joe kept their relationship private, with Joe confessing the “interest” in Taylor is “not something I particularly care about or have much interest in feeding”.
As for Taylor, she said in October 2022: “With my relationship for six years, we’ve had to dodge weird rumours, tabloid stuff, and we just ignore it.”
