Amy Schumer says fans ‘gasped’ when they saw how ‘huge’ John Cena was in sex scene

Amy Schumer confessed that fans “gasped” when they saw just how “huge” her Trainwreck co-star John Cena was.

Amy starred in the 2015 rom-com alongside Cena and compared him to a “refrigerator” when he first climbed, semi-naked, on top of her.

And reflecting on the awkward love scenes – and the reaction from those first watching – Amy confessed to E! News: “He’s huge. People just gasped.”

She added to Opie Radio: “It’s a whole universe, [Cena’s] butt. That Cena a**. It’s not even human. It felt like having a Flick refrigerator on top!”

In a separate interview, Amy told MTV: “It was like a refrigerator fell on me. I think it was probably harder for him. He had to, like, do something. I just did what I usually do when I have sex. Just lay there, so yeah.”

In the very saucy scenes, fans saw Cena covered up with nothing but a tiny towel with his bulge barely hidden underneath.

Amy confessed that the fake erection was actually made of wood from an old broomstick.

She explained: “I think it as part of a broomstick. Jimmy was our prop guy and he was whittling one day. I was like, ‘What you doing, Jimmy? What you working on?’ He was like, ‘I’m making John’s erection.'”

Speaking to Jimmy Kimmel on his chat show, Cena admitted that he wore a penis sock over his manhood on set, adding: “I have a ‘big part’ because of the costume department. I was gifted a stunt penis.”

He added: “[I was] almost all the way naked. I had to stuff myself in a small nylon sock, and they gave me a stunt penis to insinuate an erection.”

But when Kimmel encouraged the WWE star to commit to using it at the Wrestlemania 31 event, John admitted he wasn’t up for it – leaving fans in hysterics.

And though it’s pretty clear Amy wasn’t talking about Cena’s height, we can confirm he’s an impressive 6ft 1 – and advertises a billed weight of 251lbs, or 17.9 stone.

That’s a lot of muscle.

In another hilarious interview, Amy joked Cena was “actually inside her” for their raunchy scenes, quipping: “Wrestlers, they aren’t faking!”
