EastEnders fans are confused about a major storyline involving Stacey Slater’s money woes.
The market trader has been struggling to pay her bills and even resorted to stealing money during a recent cleaning job.
She recently battled a loan shark who threatened to burn down Stacey’s Baps as she was so desperate for money and took picture of her feet for cash and put it on the internet.

But eagle-eyed fans are confused at why the character is so cash-strapped, as she lives with three other people and there are multiple income streams in the household.
She also receives money from her ex, Martin.
“sorry but it’s getting quite ridiculous that stacey has to do everything on their own when there are three other working adults in that house #EastEnders,” one viewer said.
Another added: “How are there so many adults in the Slater household, but Stacey is the only one shelling out for all the bills [seemingly]?” another griped.
