This Morning’s Alison Hammond ‘still buzzing’ after getting selfie with royals

Alison Hammond left fans green with envy as she enjoyed a game of darts with the future King and Queen of England.

On Thursday (April 20) the ITV presenter returned to her hometown in Birmingham where she met the Prince and Princess of Wales.

The royal couple ventured up North to celebrate the city’s diverse culture by meeting future leaders in the arts and creative industries.

After a fun-filled afternoon meeting Prince William and Kate Middleton, the This Morning host, 48, managed to convince the pair to a game at the 180 Club.

After a cheeky game of darts, the TV legend made sure catch up with mum-of-three Kate with the star even promising to treat the royal family to a classic Jamaican dinner at her house next time they visited.

To mark the memorable occasion, Alison shared a sweet selfie with the Kate and Will as she promised to tell all on her once-in-a-lifetime experience on the ITV daytime show tomorrow (April 21).

She captioned the post: “These two are everything !! @princeandprincessofwales Thanks for popping by in Birmingham. Next time dinner at my place ! I’ll let you know full story tomorrow on @thismorning [crown emoji].”

The star added: “I’m still buzzing from this moment today, such down to earth lovely couple. Had the best time in Brum with these two [heart emoji] @Kensington Royal.”

It didn’t take long before her famous friends and loyal legion of fans shared their envy online as they flooded to the comments immediately after posting.

Kate Lawler wrote: “WTAF YOU MET THE FUTURE KING AND QUEEN! Drop the mic [heat=eyes emoji].”

Ruth Langsford agreed: “Now that’s what I call a selfie!” as Vanessa Feltz echoed: “Superb [two crown emojis].”
