I’m A Celeb fans were stunned as Gillian McKeith made a triumphant return to the ITV show and made a bold fashion choice in the process.
I’m a Celebrity… South Africa kicked off on Monday (April 24) and welcomed a handful of show legends back into the jungle for round two.
At the end of the first episode, presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly explained to the campmates that they would be competing against each other this time around, before revealing there was another surprise in store.

As the duo watched the scenes unfold through a secret hole, a large box was brought into camp and the celebrities quickly deduced that someone was inside.

It was at that moment the Scottish television personality jumped out and unveiled herself as a late arrival.
But for her second stint in the jungle, the 63-year-old opted to put her hair into braids and fans wasted no time sharing their thoughts on social media.
One person penned: “Oh dear! Whoever thought that putting Gillian McKeith‘s hair into braids was a good look should step back into the 70s #imaceleb.”

“GILLIAN!!! No wayyy. And she’s got a new hair style wow #imacelebrity,” added a second viewer.
Another fan asked: “What the f*** has Gillian McKeith done to her hair?” as a fourth shared: “Sorry what is going on with gillian’s hair? #ImACeleb.”
“Gillian is back … and she has a new hair style aswell,” wrote a fifth user as someone else exclaimed: “What the f**k has she done to her hair #ImACeleb.”

One person who was shocked to see Gillian was Happy Mondays singer Shaun Ryder.
Shaun and Gillian both appeared on I’m A Celeb back in 2010 and famously clashed in the Australian camp.
During a preview for Tuesday night’s episode (April 25), an unhappy Shaun admitted: “I almost killed her” after the rest of the campmates learned the two appeared in the same series.
I’m A Celebrity…South Africa continues tomorrow night at 9pm and all this week on ITV1 and ITVX.
