EastEnders fans have been left in awe over Kathy Beale star Gillian Taylforth following her latest glamorous appearance.
As she appeared on the BBC One soap, fans rushed to Facebook groups to discuss her youthful looks as one user had to double check her age because they couldn’t believe it.

The actress, 67, has regularly been praised for her looks, with Gillian previously speaking out on her regime to keeping her skin looking young and healthy.
As fans rallied around her after the latest episode of EastEnders, one user wrote: “Is it true Kathy is 67 years old? I’ve just googled her age as she looks so amazing. If she’s had cosmetic surgery it’s been done amazingly well.

“She looks incredible. I always thought she looked younger than her son Ian!”
One user wrote: “She’s in her 60s in real life, but in her 70s in the show.”
While a third said: “She looks amazing, lovely bone structure, I don’t think you get that from surgery.”
Another added: “She’s 67 years old. When I started watching EastEnders right from the beginning I thought that Kathy and Ian were brother and sister.”

An additional fan said the soap bosses should start playing up to Gillian’s beauty more than her age in the soap, adding that she looks a “generation younger”.
It’s not the first time Gillian has been praised for her incredibly glamorous exterior both on the soap and on red carpets – and she’s explained her secret before.
She’s been open about the work she’s had done, once confessing that just before her 60th birthday she had a “non-surgical face lift” which uses a dissolvable thread to remove wrinkles.

The star was previously asked how she keeps herself looking glam and she explained that she gets her five a day and said “age is just a number”.
Gillian is currently 67 years old and will celebrate her 68th birthday in August.
The actress is just 13 years older than her on-screen son, Adam Woodyatt, though her character in the soap is 73-years-old.
