Coronation Street alum Simon Gregson has been a regular on TV screens since making his debut on the cobbles way back in 1989.
The 48-year-old, who has been a part of several storylines playing Steve McDonald, is now set to face heartache during Wednesday’s episode (April 26) of the hit ITV show.
Viewers will see Steve’s daughter Amy confide in her dad about her recent rape horror – inflicted by Aaron Sandford.

But when Simon isn’t appearing on Corrie, the soap star can be found snuggling down with his close-knit family at their snazzy Cheshire home.
Simon married his boo Emma Gleave in 2010 and the pair share three sons together – Henry, Alfie and Harry.
No stranger to showing off glimpses of his six-bedroom home, Simon often takes to his social media to give fans a look at his wholesome family life.
So as Steve finally learns the truth about Amy’s recent horrific assault, Daily Star is taking a look inside the actor Simon’s snazzy Cheshire pad.
Gigantic living room and huge telly
One of the major rooms in Simon’s six-bed pad is his gorgeous living room – complete with a huge telly and stylish accent pieces like wall art and ornaments.
Simon, who appeared on I’m A Celeb in 2021, took to his Instagram in 2022 to share a snap of him sprawled out on his lush grey sofa with his kids.
Opting for a pop of colour in his huge living room, former I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star Simon amped up the style by choosing to paint the walls a gorgeous dark blue, and has adorned the walls with several stylish pieces of wall art.
He has also shared snaps of his adorable dogs, lounging about on their famous dad’s sofa.
Kitted-out kitchen
A few years ago, Simon shared a look at home life when he uploaded pics of his sons doing the washing up in their kitchen with the hilarious caption: “Is this a strange dream?”
More recently, Simon showed off his impressive kitchen, kitted out with an array of cooking devices – including four ovens.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, he said: “The kitchen is the heart of the house. This is where everybody is, all the time, in all houses all over the world.”
He then pointed to one of the four ovens, and added: “These are always on because my boys are growing and I just cannot get enough food inside them.”
Games room
Another of the standout areas in his plush home is the pub-turned-games room – which is totally a teenager’s dream.
He explained to OK!: “This used to be our pub, our own little pub at home. But now we’ve given it to the boys and it’s their games room. So we have the basketball arcade thing, a pool table and table tennis as well.
“Then we’ve got an arcade machine with hundreds of games with all the original stuff, like Pacman, Space Invaders and Donkey Kong – all the ’90s games.”
Huge garden
Simon is clearly a dab hand at rustling up a delicious BBQ feat in sunnier climates for his family of five.
The soap legend welcomed sons Alfie in 2007, Harry in 2009 and Henry Teddy in 2016 with his wife.
Back in 2018, the doting dad shared a snap of him getting the food prepared – with his gorgeous red brick home in view in the background.
