The Late Late Show with James Corden has officially come to a close leaving host James Corden breaking down in tears as his eight years hosting the show came to an end.
As the star prepares to move back to the UK Experts have predicted James could be the “next Jonathan Ross” but he needs to “win over” Brits first.
The final week of the star’s US chat show was full of tears and celebrity guests such as Adele doing carpool karaoke, the Kardashian family, Harry Styles and Tom Cruise.

After his emotional goodbye the star plans to move back to the UK, and PR experts told MailOnline that James will be attempting to “regain favour among the British public” after a slew of negative headlines.
PR experts also told the publication that a way for him to grow in favour could be for him to accept a talk show with ITV in a bid to become the new Jonathan Ross.

Popular culture and brand expert Nick Ede told MailOnline that Corden needs to “go back to basics” to win back the hearts of the British public.
He said: “He’s talented and he’s seen as a national treasure by many because of Gavin & Stacey.
“Going back to his roots and being humble will keep the fans happy – but he still has work to do to get there.”

In recent months James Corden has seen negative headlines about his behavior off-camera.
The 44-year-old was kicked out from the popular Balthazar eatery in New York City due to his alleged “abusive” behavior.
The manager of Balthazar said James was a “hugely gifted comedian” but a “tiny cretin of a man” as he shared details of the alleged incidents online

In a statement on his show, James Corden said, “I didn’t shout or scream, I didn’t get up out of my seat, I didn’t call anyone names or use derogatory language,
“But the truth is I have made a rude, rude comment. And it was wrong. It was an unnecessary comment, it was ungracious to the server.”
