James Corden is being urged to stay in America by Brits telling the US “you can keep him”.
The British ‘comedian’ aired his last ever episode of The Late Late Show this week after an eight-year stint Stateside.
But judging by much of the reaction online, lots of people would prefer him to stay across the Pond.

Some are even urging officials to close to UK borders to keep him away.
It comes after he faced criticism over his conduct in a New York restaurant, where staff accused him of being rude.
The Late Late Show, which first aired on CBS in 2015 was a hit with viewers, pulling in decent ratings, but Corden, 44, announced earlier this year that he would be stepping down to spend more time with his family.
A fair few Brits, though, hope that time isn’t going to be spend in his homeland.
One wrote: “James Corden lock your f***ing doors.”
Another added: “Which border security official do we have to bribe to make sure James Corden isn’t allowed back into the uk?”
A third asked: “What was the point of Brexit and taking control of our borders if we can’t prevent James Corden returning to the UK?”
“America, we didn’t want James Corden back,” pleaded another. “You can keep him. No really. Keep him.”
Someone else simply commented: “James Corden is on my hit list.”
His possible departure has left some Americans rejoicing too.
One said: “At long last, America’s nightmare is over. James Corden has gone off the air.”
“James Corden stopped making carpool karaoke today. I’ve never felt such pride in my country,” added another.
Of course, however, there were others who were sad to see the Gavin and Stacey star’s time on the show come to a close.
Corden told the Times earlier this year that he wanted to spend more time with his wife Julia Carey and three children.
It came after he was forced to cancel a family holiday due to scheduling clashes.
Corden hosted his final episode of the Late Late show on Tuesday (25 April), which saw his infamous Carpool Karaoke segment bring back an emotional Adele. It brought him to tears.
He said: “I knew I just couldn’t do that again. So that’s why I quit.”
His reputation took a hit in October last year after he was banned from New York restaurant Balthazar, for allegedly being “abusive” towards a waiter in an incident now known as ‘omelette-gate’.
