Keanu Reeves has been hailed a ‘legend’ after setting internet abuzz with a sweet exchange with towards a young fan.

The John Wick star, who has co-written a comic book ‘BRZRKR’ alongside Matt Kindt, appeared at an event to sign copies for his fans in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

But the 58-year-old appeared more than happy to chat to a nine year old boy, Noah, who told him he was his “favourite actor in the whole world!”.

Known for his generosity and kind nature, Reeves often engages with fans, posing for photographs, signing autographs, even inviting some to movie premieres.

And yet another example of his sound character was caught on film as he stopped to make Noah’s day. The clip has gone viral.

He replied to Noah’s “favourite actor” assertion with: “Oh my gosh, Noah, thank you!”.

Striking up a conversation about his role in one popular movie he’d lent his voice to for one key character, he asked the boy: “Did you see Duke Caboom in Toy Story 4?'”

“Yeah, he’s my favourite character”, replied Noah.

Reeves then slipped into character, saying: “Canada’s greatest stuntman!”

He further added: “Well, I’m glad you liked it, I really liked playing Duke Caboom.”

The video garnered a lot of appreciation from Reeves’ fans, with one writing: “#ILoveKeanuReeves”.

Another said: “I want to be like Keanu. In every way.”

Someone else added: “Me too Noah, me too. Keanu Reeves is the best. You have picked the nicest and kindest actor for your favourite. So young & wise beyond words.”

One remarked: “The legend that is Keanu, just continues to grow”, while another said: “The world needs more people like Keanu.”

With a whopping box office gross of over $73.5 million, Reeves’ most recent action film, John Wick 4, has proven to be the highest-earning instalment of the franchise yet.

The Point Break actor has said one of the biggest challenges he faced when preparing for John Wick: Chapter 4 was learning nunchaku techniques.
