Blankety Blank viewers were left swooning at their screens after “handsome” player Tadgh distracted them from the game.
Host Bradley Walsh was back on screens with the classic gameshow, with Saturday’s episode (April 29) being a repeat from the first series of the reboot back in 2021.
The television favourite welcomed players Irene and Tadgh onto the show for the first round, and viewers were completely enamoured with hunky Tadgh.

Sadly for them, lollipop lady Irene won the first round, meaning teacher Tadgh was kicked off without winning the prize on offer – an outdoor cinema and silent disco.
One person said: “Tadgh is rather handsome, ain’t he?”
Another said: “Good evening to Tadgh and Tadgh only.”
A third wrote: “What a shame Tadgh wasn’t onscreen longer.”
Someone else tweeted: “Tadgh on Blankety Blank… hello…”
And a fifth added: “Shame, I was enjoying watching Tadgh.”
While Tadgh was still on the episode, though, one question for him left host Bradley unhappy.
Bradley asked: “I love performing so much, every time my wife opens the bedroom curtains, I start to blank.”
The celebrity panel – Judy Murray, Rickie Haywood-Williams, Rob Beckett, Peter Andre, Ellie Taylor and Shappi Khorsandi – got busy writing their answers before Tadgh offered up “sing”.
Unsurprisingly, he got a number of matches, however Peter left him one short of a full house after he answered with “come alive”.
At the end of the first round, Irene – who had been a lollipop lady for almost 53 years at the time of filming – was in front, meaning it was time to say goodbye to Tadgh.
Blankety Blank airs Saturday nights at 7pm on BBC1
