Celebrities and concertgoers looked on as a woman experienced a “full body orgasm” in the audience of an LA Philharmonic gig this week.
Multiple attendees at the Walt Disney Concert Hall – which included Harry Potter star Ralph Fiennes’ brother Magnus – spotted a woman who was allegedly so into the symphony that she had a sexual experience.
The performance was Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony, performed by the LA Philharmonic.

According to various reports, the orgasm was “loud” and caused quite the commotion in the concert hall.
Taking to Twitter, Ralph’s brother Magnus, a composer and songwriter by day, penned: “Went to see @LAPhil play Thomasades and Tchaikovsky 5 last night.
“A woman in the audience had loud and full body orgasm during the 5th’s second movement… Band politely carried on. Props to LAPhil (and Pytor Ilyich) for bringing it on…”
However, someone else quickly insisted the woman had instead suffered a “medical emergency”, writing: “I was there. This is not what happened. The poor woman had a breakdown of some sort.
“Speaking to Elim after the concert (we are friends since out time together at U of M) and we were all worried it was a medical emergency. Please have more respect.”
But Magnus was quick to insist: “I ran all possible scenarios, Tourettes even. Was in close proximity and had no less than 8 other friends coincidentally attending – all had reached a similar conclusion.
“She remained for the rest of the show, Her demeanour was in evidence. My corroborated take is merely an observation. Respect maintained.”

Another concertgoer added: “I saw the girl after it had happened, and I assume that she … had an orgasm because she was heavily breathing, and her partner was smiling and looking at her.
While music agent Lukas Burton told The Los Angeles Times “there was a sort of gasp in the audience” which felt like “a rather lovely expression of somebody who was so transported that it had some kind of effect on them”.
He added: “One can’t know exactly what happened, but it seemed very clear from the sound that it was an expression of pure physical joy.”
The LA Philharmonic has not commented on the incident.
