Gwyneth Paltrow, 50, has confessed she was “really not prepared” for her daughter to learn about sex at the age of 11.
The Hollywood star, who shares daughter Apple, 18, and son Moses, 17, with ex-husband Chris Martin, opened up about the horror she felt when her kids received comprehensive sex education at school.
Gwyneth recently made a star appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, where she delved deep into motherhood and how she became red-faced when quizzed about sex by her kids.

Dishing the dirt about her teenagers and their guide to dating, she confessed: “I think you have to tread lightly and let them come to you.
“I remember my kids both went to this fantastic elementary school here in Los Angeles after we moved back from London, and they taught them sex-ed in the sixth grade.”
Adding: “I was really not prepared with the information they came home with.”
Gwyneth then confessed how she was red-faced when her pre-teens were taught “everything” about sex.
She added: “I will never forget Apple and her best friend Emily sitting at our kitchen banquet in shock, the colour drained from their face.
“They taught them everything. Everything. Anything you’re thinking, they taught the 11-12-year-olds. They’re like, ‘Do people do this?’”
Elsewhere in the podcast, Gywneth lifted the lid on some of her notorious exes, including confessions about Brad Pitt and Ben Affleck.
Gwyneth also took a walk down memory lane as she reflected on calling off her engagement to Brad in 1997, having previously met on the set of Se7en.
“I had a lot of development to do, looking back in hindsight,” she continued.
