Tipping Point fans fuming as they complain about Ben Shephard’s ‘annoying’ habit

Tipping Point viewers have slammed host Ben Shephard’s very “annoying” habit on the latest episode of the ITV gameshow.

As the long-serving frontman returned to welcome three new players to the show, he began doling out a series of trivia questions as the contestants battled it out to score money from the machine.

But viewers at home couldn’t help but notice a habit the host has picked up, where he repeats the full question to contestants, despite having already read most of the question already.

Ben typically decides to repeat the question if the timer runs out before the player can answer, but fans feel it’s a waste of time, especially given that some of the questions are quite lengthy.

“Ben we don’t care about you repeating questions when you just said 90% of it,” blasted one fan.

“Repeats question that no one cares about klaxon!,” said a second.

A third added: “Show would last half as long if Ben didn’t repeat all these bl**dy questions.. #tippingpoint,” while a fourth chimed in: “Why does Ben Shephard repeat the questions on #TippingPoint after the end of a contestant’s go when they’ve got the answer right?”

Fans also too to social media to comment on one player’s major strategic blunder.

As player Steph kicked off her time on the show, she was asked if she wanted to play or pass her first counter.

Opting to pass it over to contestant Suraj, she allowed him to play the first counter of the game and score some coins in the tipping point machine.

But when he played, he managed to score a whopping £400 and a double counter to boot, giving him £800 on his first drop.

Fans dubbed it an epic mistake.

“Steph passed to suraj giving him 800,” said one fan.

“Good pass Steph!” said one fan followed by an eye roll emoji.

“Oh Steph, big mistake to pass, said a third, while a fourth added: ““Mug steph Why would you pass that?.”
