While a third shared: “Emma,” followed by a trio of heart eye emojis.

Emma, who hails from Nottingham, was second to face today’s chaser, Darragh Ennis, and told Bradley she was currently studying at Birmingham.

Studying sociology and politics, Emma revealed to the former Corrie actor that politics was the career route she wanted to go down.

“Ultimately something to do with politics. I’m really interested in maybe being an MP or something,” she told the presenter.

“Good for you,” added the 62-year-old.

Emma’s career goals didn’t go unnoticed by fans who headed straight to social media to share their thoughts.

“There is nothing interesting about being an MP,” wrote on viewer as a second penned: “Emma wants to be an MP? – god help us!… #TheChase.”

Another chimed in: “I’m really interested in maybe being something like an MP”, got a clear vision there emma. #TheChase.”

With all four players into the final chase, it meant Darragh would likely have to put on his best performance to beat them.

The team answered 18 questions correctly, leaving The Menace confident as he expected them to get “at least 20”.

After executing five pushbacks, Darragh couldn’t keep up with the team and they went home with £4,500 each.

Emma was emotional after winning the money and tearfully told Bradley she was going to spend it on visiting her cousins in Australia who she has never met before.
