Dancing on Ice star had ‘child with TV exec’ before Rachel Stevens romance

Rachel Stevens’ Dancing on Ice partner and lover Brendyn Hatfield reportedly became a dad just four months before his relationship with the S Club 7 singer was revealed.

According to reports, Brendyn, 37, fathered the child while in a relationship with a TV executive connected with the ITV programme.

The professional skater, who was also Rachel’s Dancing on Ice partner last year, split from his wife Jessica who also works a figure skater.

However The Sun on Sunday revealed that Rachel was dating Brendyn following the breakdown of her own marriage last year.

Since the news of Brendyn’s secret child broke, sources say the controversy surrounding the relationship could affect his future with ITV.

An insider told The Sun: “Bosses remind skaters of their responsibilities before each series.

“There will be long, hard discussions before Brendyn is confirmed for another series. His future is in the air.”

Rachel and Brendyn were spotted together last week after it was rumoured that he has moved into her £2million home in North London.

The 45-year-old first met the pro skater in November 2021 when they began training for Dancing on Ice.

The pair quickly formed a close bond but became the third pair to be eliminated from the show.

Not so long after and just one month before her 13th wedding anniversary, Rachek revealed that she had split from her property developer husband Alex Bourne, with whom she has two daughters with.
