Coronation Street fans have claimed that Amy Barlow is taking a “risk” by confronting Aaron’s girlfriend Mia.
On Monday’s episode (May 15), Amy took it upon herself to warn Mia about her boyfriend Aaron Sandford, but it didn’t go as well as she planned.
Though when she warned Mia, Abi Franklin was there and viewers argued it appeared she was changing her mind about Aaron.

One fan wrote: “Amy took a risk going to Mia like that #Corrie.”
A second added: “Amy you have good intentions but this isn’t the way to get justice. You’re taking a massive risk. #Corrie”
While a third penned: “Abi knows doesn’t she…she’s starting to see that Aaron isn’t all he seems #corrie”
Though later Mia filed a complaint against Abi to the police who went to pay Amy a visit.
In fury, Amy later stormed into the mechanics to rant at Aaron in person, with Abi present also.
“Aaron knows fully well what he has done. The guilt in his face says it all Abi is starting to work it out. #Corrie”
One other tweeted: “Aaron’s lies will catch up with him sooner or later. Deny all you like but the truth will eventually surface. Amy deserves justice #Corrie”
However, some viewers took Aaron’s side in the drama.
“Again Why are they talking like Aaron’s some big bad sex offender who rapes every girl he meets / is with? He was nothing but lovely when he was with Summer.
“He was as drunk as Amy and they were all over eachother. He made a mistake,” one tweeted.
Though another furiously responded: “Because Aaron is a rapist, doesn’t matter if he was as drunk as Amy, it stopped being consensual when she passed out. It doesn’t take Sherlock Holmes to figure this one out. #Corrie”
Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday on ITV1 and ITVX at 8pm
