Tom Cruise is in her top five lovers
Cher and Tom Cruise dated early on in her career and told Oprah Winfrey in 2008 that she “was crazy about him,” and that it could have been a “great big romance” if their filming schedules hadn’t torn them apart.
She also admitted that he was fantastic in the bedroom and rated him in her top five lovers.
She told Andy Cohen in 2013: “It was pretty hot and heavy for a little minute. He’s a great guy.
“The person that I knew was a great and lovable guy.”
“He was in the top five! I just had the greatest lovers ever.”
Toyboy romance with 36-year-old
Cher has recently confirmed her romance with Alexander Edwards who is 36 years old.
The pair look very happy together and Cher announced in November last year that she and Alexander were dating.
She tweeted a snap of herself with her new beau and wrote: “Love doesn’t know math!”.
And in response to those criticising the couple’s 40-year age-gap, she simply tweeted: “ ‘I’m Not Defending us. Haters are Gonna Hate…Doesn’t Matter That we’re Happy & Not Bothering Anyone”.
Lesbian fling
Cher once admitted she had a lesbian fling in the 1960s.
She said: “It was just something to try. I mean, in my family, I was the person that was the freest.
“Also, it was the 60s, and the 60s were so open.
“Freedom was something people were trying on, like hang-gliding.”
Being a “sex object”
Cher once said that women are “sex objects and always will be.”
The Guardian reported that she said: “I was pushing an envelope that I wanted to push. I felt that looking the way I wanted to look and doing what I wanted to do made me more empowered.
“Sinéad O’Connor has a very different sense of herself than Miley Cyrus, so I don’t think it’s as dire as people are warning. Women have always been sex objects, and that’s nothing new. “They always will be.”
