Coronation Street’s Dolly Rose Campbell has revealed some of the major complications she faced while filming Gemma Winter’s highly-anticipated wedding scenes.
The loveable factory worker is set to tie the knot to her childhood sweetheart Chesney Brown later this week.
And the auburn beauty is certain to turn heads with her incredible orange wedding dress which is estimated to be two-meters wide with an additional seven-meter long veil.

The show-stopping gown – which was handmade by Manchester drag queen Liquorice Black – is fitted with LED fairy lights sewn into the enormous skirt which will light up the church as she walks down the aisle.
As the big day draws closer, the auburn beauty exclusively sat down with Daily Star and other publications where she shared some of the last-minute changes to her dress.
She said: “The skirt of the dress was two meters wide and what we found was that when the director wanted to do a two shot with two actors, we couldn’t do it because there wasn’t enough room for two people within the frame.”
The 36-year-old actress confessed that she was actually given a second dress because the original gown was too large to capture the touching scenes as Gemma and Chesney exchanged vows.
Because of this, the fashion designer – who regularly produces stellar gowns for contestants on RuPaul’s Drag Race – was left with no other option than to make a second dress.
She continued: “Liquorice made us a smaller one which was like a minidress one that we could use for close-ups.
“We never see the little one, we always see the big one but in the close-ups we use the little one.”
Dolly went on to reveal that the enormous dress was made in two parts which helped make the gown more comfortable to wear.
She explained: “It was in two parts as well so the top was separate to the skirt so I could take the skirt off and swap the skirt when I needed too.
“People would say to me, ‘Is it heavy?’ and I would say compared to the pregnancy belly, no, not at all. I really enjoyed wearing it because it was made to fit me from scratch.
“Liquorice came to set and helped me with all the costumes changes backstage and turning on all the lights

Dolly joked that her amazing gown would have been the perfect garment for a wedding during the global pandemic because of the sheer size of it.
The soap star quipped: “It would have been perfect for a Covid wedding because then you would have been two meters apart!”
