Charlotte Crosby quits Geordie Shore filming and flies home after cast row and illness

Charlotte Crosby has reportedly quit filming for Geordie Shore and returned home early during production for the next Reunion series.

The original cast member, 33, had been in Cyprus with a number of her co-stars filming for the upcoming series, however production reportedly hasn’t gone smoothly.

Now, in another blow, mum-of-one Charlotte has flown home early, however it’s reported she will continue to film back in the UK.

The new mother is said to have got fed up with the state of the villa they were staying in – especially as she had her baby daughter Alba Jean with her.

A source told The Sun: “Charlotte was really unhappy at how dirty the villa was that they were staying in – there were no cleaning products and she had her baby daughter with her.

“She got fed up and flew home early – the whole thing was really stressful and she just wanted to get home.

“It left a bad taste in some of the cast’s mouths but it was all great TV when she stormed out.”

It was reported last month that the cast had become divided during filming in Cyprus in what was said to be the biggest show fall-out ever.

According to The Sun, the cast was “split in two as they have taken sides over a huge argument that broke out”.

Then in May, filming reportedly had to be paused as an illness struck down the cast and they came home.

Charlotte was one of the original cast members when Geordie Shore burst onto MTV back in 2011.

She was joined by Gaz Beadle, Jay Gardner, James Tindale, Greg Lake, Vicky Pattison, Sophie Kasaei and Holly Hagan.

One of the stand-out stars of the show, Charlotte landed a number of spin-off series before joining Geordie OGs after leaving the party house.

However she returned to the franchise for the Reunion show, which is believed to be the final outing of Geordie Shore.
