It’s almost time for the annual Memorial Day Concert airing on PBS, where the best and brightest gather to celebrate the sacrifices of US troops over the centuries
It’s that time of year again when country singers, TV stars and US Army veterans all come together for the National Memorial Day Concert.
With Memorial Day, a federal holiday, taking place yearly on May 30th, the concert is dedicated to US military personnel who have died in service.
But it’s not just US stars who have performed at the event. In 2018, X Factor winner Leona Lewis took to the stage to perform Bridge Over Troubled Water – looking sensational in a strapless silver gown.
Other attendees over the years have included Hamilton star Christopher Jackson, Love Song singer Sara Bareilles and Gladys Knight.
