Back to the Future star Lea Thompson might have featured in the most quackers sex scene of all time – by romping with a giant duck.
In actual fact, the episode in question has been described as the “most obscene sex scene ever”.
In the late 1980s, Lea was an up and coming Hollywood star who had already become a household name after playing Marty McFly’s mum, Lorraine McFly, and fans were keen to see what would come next.

But, if you thought seeing her younger self trying to make out with her son was a bit unsettling in Back to the Future, a year later she was hopping into bed with a three-foot bird in Howard the Duck.
Sound odd? Well not to some, as Star Wars creator George Lucas bet a fortune on the bestiality bonanza becoming a hit.
The tone in the film is set early doors, when, back in Duckworld, a 27-year-old Howard thumbs his way through a copy of PlayDuck.
On Earth things are no less unsettling, with Howard landing a job working at a bathhouse, where he finds himself thrust into a pool with a cavorting couple.
However, the pièce de resistance of peculiarity comes when Lea’s character, Beverley Switzler, engages in perhaps the most obscene sex scene in Hollywood history, according to Far Out magazine.

Now, suddenly, we have the implication that scantily clad rock singer, Beverley tries to force herself onto the avian alien to spare her from lonely night woes, refusing to heed his hesitant objections
Lea’s own daughter, Zoey Deutch, who later became an actress herself appeared on the Conan chat show and explained the awkward conversation she had with her parents having seen the film as a child.
“There is a particular scene in the film in which my mother makes love to a duck, and I saw it,” she said.
“So, what’s the next step: I go to my father, and I go to my mother, and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I know the duck’s name is Howard, dad your name is Howard—this is complicated.’
“[Implying she’s talking to her mum] ‘Dad will love you more than this duck will’.
“I was making a case for [my dad]. I thought my mother was going to leave my dad for a duck.”
Comically adding: “Eventually, they were like, ‘Oh this is for grown-ups. You weren’t supposed to watch that. It’s for adults.’ So at school when people would ask me what my mother does for a living I would say, ‘She’s an actress… in adult films’.”
The film was mostly, unsurprisingly, met with negative reviews.
However, it was multi-award winning, albeit collecting four Golden Raspberries, including Worst New Star, and scooping the Worst Picture category from Stinkers Bad Movie Awards.
