Love Island 2023 star Ruchee Gurung has ruled out having sex in the villa – and admitted her mum slapped her with a sex ban before going on the show.
The 24-year-old beautician from Sutton is just about to enter the villa for the tenth series of the ITV2 dating show, which kicks off in Mallorca on Monday (June 5) at 9pm.
But it seems the stunning Islander won’t be getting down to any bedroom business with boys during her stay in the sun, even if she really fancies them.

Speaking to Daily Star and other press before the show, Ruchee said that her mum is happy for her to do whatever she wants in the villa, except for a specific activity under the sheets.
Asked how her family feels about her doing the show, Ruchee said: “I’m okay. I’m not going to do anything that I don’t feel like doing or anything like that. Especially for example having sex and things like that.
“My mum literally was like ‘do whatever you want, just go there, have a good experience, but don’t have sex on TV’, and I was like ‘Mum I’m not going to, don’t worry about it!.”
Revealing what she’s looking for in a guy, Ruchee said: “Someone that’s family orientated. Obviously looks is a big focus, but I’m such a personality person.
“You have to be funny and make me laugh. We have to have the same kind of banter. I find it hard to relate to people that aren’t close with their family. I feel like fashion is quite big. You can’t be turning up in really tight jeans!”

And boys wanting to impress the beauty expert will need to make sure their nails are up to scratch, otherwise you’ll give her the dreaded ‘ick’.
Ruchee added: “And hygeine, you have to be clean, and because I’m a nail technician as well, every time I go on dates I will look at guy’s nails, because if it’s not clean it gives me the ‘ick’.”
