Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden has started her cancer treatment.
The BBC professional dancer took to her social media account as she revealed that she started her treatment to fight breast cancer.
She posted a snap onto her instagram grid page of herself sitting in her hospital gown in her hospital bed.

But she is determined to cary on as she gave the camera a gazing smile whilst putting her thumbs up in a positive gesture.
Amy captioned the post: “Step one to beating cancer! Rrrrrrready for this fight and more determined than ever to get back on the dance floor.”
She added: “#breastcanceryoung #checkyourchest #checkyourlemons #letsdothis #breastcancerawareness #cancer.”
Earlier on she also took to her Instagram story to show off her thick hospital socks that contained an inspirational graphic print message on them.
The socks read “You got this” as she captioned the photo: “Today is step one to beating you cancer! Time to show you!!!!” alongside a muscle emoji and a hands in prayer emoji.
This comes after Amy announced she was diagnosed with breast cancer in May.
The 32-year-old dancer shared the news with her Instagram followers as she wrote: “Hey all, I’ve got some news which isn’t easy to share.
“I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer but I’m determined to get back on that dance floor before you know it. Welsh love Amy x.”
Her Strictly co-stars immediately showered her with love and support with Dianne Buswell writing: “Our Welsh dragon is going to fight this!!!! And I can not wait for the moment you are back on that dance floor with us. We love you so much Amy.”
Strictly’s executive producer Sarah James wrote: “Amy is an exceptional person, both on and off the dance floor, and is adored by her entire Strictly Come Dancing family.
“Everyone on the show is sending Amy all our love and she knows that we are all here to support her, whenever she needs us.”
Head judge Shirley Ballas also praised the beauty’s strength and wrote: “My precious girl. Nanny and I are thinking about you at this time. You are a strong example to so many of resilience which I’ve witnessed first hand.
“A beautiful kind and funny young lady who will face things head on. You are sooo loved. I’ll see you soon my darling friend hugs and lots of warm cuddles.”
