Below Deck captain fires crew in middle of night as production forced to step in

Below Deck fans have been left gobsmacked after a new trailer showed the captain firing someone from the boat.

Tensions ran so high that the production crew were forced to get involved and could be seen trying to open a door.

The trailer for season two of Below Deck Down Under showed the cast diving in the sea, breaking glasses, being pulled onto the boat from the sea and snapping poles.

At one point, Captain Jason warned the cast that if they jumped in the sea again, he would take them back to the marina.

Jason then shut himself away in his office while Aesha begged him to have a chat with the rest of the crew as producers tried to barge into the room.

Jason was done with the crew and fired someone in the night

The captain was then pushed so far over the edge that he told one of the crew members he was going to “terminate their employment” and that they “needed to get off the boat” that very night.

The video was posted on Reddit and fans went wild In the replies.

Someone wrote: “Not sure what the event was but my guess it was similar to season seven with Kate and the Bru crew. I’m glad to see that it looks like it was addressed immediately and love Aesha and Jason having each other’s backs.”

The cast couldn’t believe what they were hearing

Another Below Deck fan commented: “Ooh, Captain Jason is back and he is not f***ing around. Love to see it [sparkle emoji].”

More viewers gushed over Captain Jason and branded him “so yummy,” fawned over his accent and joked that “Colin is about to get dumped”.

While some were stuck on the Captain’s good looks, others couldn’t believe the absolute carnage that went down on board.

Aesha was seen in tears as she spoke to Captain Jason

One fan wrote: “I love how the first half is all happy and cheery and [they’re saying] ‘We’re a family’ and then the second half is pure chaos and a s*** show and ‘You’re fired, get out’ [laughing emoji].”

Another Below Deck superfan added: “I am so hyped for this. [Below Deck] Sailing Yacht and Adventure just did not hit for me this year. The first season of Down Under is and all timer [Below Deck] season for me and so I am so glad to see Aesha and Captain Jason back again.”
