Good Morning Britain took an awkward turn when co-host Ranvir Singh made a live blunder after “not getting in until half one in the morning.”
Ranvir and co-host Ben Shephard were back at the helm of the ITV show on Thursday (June 15).
But it appears Ranvir was running on very little sleep as she revealed she went to a Lionel Richie gig on Wednesday night (June 14).

And the telly legend most definitely had a great time, as she told Ben on GMB that she “didn’t get in until half 1 in the morning.”
Despite her lack of sleep, everything was running smoothly on GMB – that was until it was time for Ranvir to inform viewers of an upcoming segment.
“Still to come,” Ranvir began, before adding: “Finding out which singing superstar is being blamed for Sweden’s high in-.”
But suddenly, she stopped mid-sentence and seemed to struggle to read the autocue.
“Is that how you say it? she quizzed while muttering: “Infatuation?”
Correcting her, co-host Ben chimed in and said: “Inflation.”
In a savage dig, while she fluffed her words, Ranvir’s pal and co-star Ben quipped: “You might want to try reading it before reading it live.”
Laughing along with her co-stars, Ranvir said: “Did I mention I got in at half 1 this morning?”
She then told Ben: “Maybe you should do all the reading from now on.”
It’s not the only blunder to take part on GMB this week – as the show was thrown into chaos yesterday (June 14) when a crew member accidentally stepped in to help a guest during a live interview.
Labour politician Wes Streeting appeared on Wednesday’s edition of the ITV breakfast show fronted by Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley.
Although their chat over, the hosts went back to Wes, who was speaking from another studio in Salford, to ask one last question.
However, a woman could be seen walking into view of the camera, and behind Wes, to sort out his microphone and earpiece.
