Ginny & Georgia star Brianne Howey welcomes first child and shares adorable sweet snap

Ginny and Georgia actress Brianne Howey has announced she’s given birth to her first baby.

The Netflix actress, 34, shared a picture of her cradling the newborn from her hospital bed.

In the adorable upload, Brianne is smiling as the little one sleeps soundly in her arms.

She captioned the pic: “My world just got a whole lot sweeter. And smaller. Welcome, my little love.”

The star has already been swarmed with love after sharing the news, with fans declaring the tot “a new little peach” in reference to the adored TV series.

Diesel La Torraca, who plays her son Austin on the show, was among the first to share in their congratulations.

“Our teeniest tiniest lil peach is HERE!!!!” he wrote. “Love you, Momma. Well done!!!”

Sarah Lampert, who created the show, added: “Ahhhhh, congrats, this is the Most beautiful image I’ve ever seen!!!!!”

How To Get Away With Murder star Jack Falahee also sent his well-wishes with a string of hearts.

Brianne announced her pregnancy in March 2023 when she shared on Instagram a bump pic declaring she now had a “forever +1”.

This is her first child with lawyer husband Matt Ziering, whom she married in a backyard ceremony at their home in California in July 2021.

It’s unknown how long the couple have been dating, having met through mutual friends in Los Angeles.

However, she confirmed they were living together in 2014 during an interview.

The news of Howey’s new arrival comes one month after the announcement that Georgia & Ginny got renewed by Netflix for two more seasons.

In the social media posts, there was only a simple black image with ‘3 & 4’ in white was posted, alongside a comment that heaped praise on the viewers for its success leading up to the greenlight for seasons three and four.

“This is because of the fans,” it read in the caption, along with prayer hands, a hand heart, peach and red heart emojis.
