Love Island fans issue stern warning to Jess as Sammy’s ‘true colours’ come out

Love Island fans are issuing a major warning to singleton Jess Harding after her dramatic row with partner Sammy.

The blonde babe was seen shouting at her beau if full view of the entire villa after telling him she was taking Mitch “out of the friend zone” in direct response to his behaviour with Leah.

As things heated up between the pair, Sammy said in the Beach Hut that he’s “not being funny but I’m her type, she weren’t my type, I gave it a go.”

Fans took the comment to mean that he “did her a favour” by getting to know her and warned her to keep her guard up with him.

“Sammy having the audacity to say he was Jess’ type and she wasn’t his. Sorry hunny, you aren’t a dime yourself,” one fan blasted.

“I need them to show or tell Jess what Sammy says behind her back otherwise she’s going to end up like Liberty,” penned a second.

A third said: “sammy genuinely thinks he’s better looking than Jess… mental,” while a fourth added: “Sammy stinks Jess really shouldn’t lower her standards, not Sammy or Mitchel is good for her.”

Host Maya Jama delivered the news that couples Jess Harding and Sammy Root, as well as Leah Taylor and Mitchel Taylor, would be forced to split and date two new bombshells.

However, what viewers didn’t see in the last episode was the intense reaction from blonde beautician Jess, who was devastated by the news.

She refused to participate and had to be persuaded by the ITV2 crew to return to the set.

This unexpected turn of events was triggered by a vote among the Islanders to determine compatibility.

A source told The Sun: “Jess, Sammy, Leah, and Mitchel were all frustrated by the fact that their fellow contestants voted against them.

“It really caused a stir, and things escalated when Jess discovered she had to go on a date with the new boy. It wasn’t a personal issue, but a producer had to comfort her while she cried and encourage her to continue filming.

“Eventually, she resumed filming, and tensions eased, but the twist was such a shock that it’s no wonder the Islanders were highly irritated.”
