Kim’s family rushed to the comments section to praise the star for her stunning photoshoot.

The mother-of-four modestly opened up to the publication about the success of her of her four-year old shapewear company, which was valued at $3.2 billion in 2022.

“I feel like, OK, I did it,” she began. “It started off with simply finding shapewear that was a skin tone that would match my colour. I used to take my shapewear and dye it with tea bags and coffee in the bathtub.”

Kim went on to explain that she also had the novel idea of cutting off one leg of her underwear to allow her to wear dresses and skirts with a high slit.

She has since incorporated that idea into its own stand-alone product, for sale in 10 different shades.

The SKIMS brand has also expanded to include loungewear, panties and bras – with sportswear and men’s loungewear in the pipeline too.

The brand’s success certainly hasn’t gone to her head, however, as she explained: “I still have, like, imposter syndrome or whatever, but I think that’s part of what keeps me going.”
