Gwyneth Paltrow ‘plans range of chocolates based on her infamous vagina candle’

Hollywood A-lister Gwyneth Paltrow is reportedly planning to release a range of chocolates based on her ‘Smells Like My Vagina’ candle.

Yes, you read that right, so prepare yourselves for a taste sensation supposedly replicating the Iron Man star’s front bottom.

She has already filled the void in the market for candles that smell like vagina and orgasm and now Gwyneth is seemingly seeking to move into confectionery.

Her This Smells Like My Vagina candles, when available, retail on her Goop lifestyle site for $75 (£58) each, and there’s even a follow-up product called This Smells Like My Orgasm.

Her planned line in sweeties, This Tastes Like My Vagina, would be available globally, if green-lit.

The Sun claims that the Oscar-winning American actress has applied to trademark the choc brand range in the US so she can sell them across the world on her Goop site.

Documents filed to the US Trademark and Patent Office are currently being checked over by government attorneys, it is reported.

The application covers “candy and chocolate”.

Her site says the This Smells Like My Vagina candle has a “funny, gorgeous, sexy, and beautifully unexpected scent.”

It is scented with geranium, citrusy bergamot and cedar, with Damask rose and ambrette seed.

While this may sound innocent, a gynaecologist from New Zealand has warned the candle may be dangerous.

Dr Olivia Smart, of Oxford Women’s Health, told Stuff: “The ingredients for Gwynnie’s candle don’t smell like any vagina I have seen.

‘A healthy vagina can smell like a lot of different things – but bergamot is not one of them’

“A healthy vagina can smell like a lot of different things – but bergamot is not one of them.”

Dr Smart is worried what message this would send to people who are self-conscious about their nether region.

She said: “I think it’s sending the wrong message to women about what their vaginas might smell like, or could smell like.”

Whether it’s the exotic, sexy fragrance or the bold name, something’s working, as the candle sold out its first trial run almost straight away.
