EastEnders fans fear tragic Billy downfall as he ‘lashes out’ ahead of Lola’s funeral

EastEnders fans are convinced Billy Mitchell is headed for a downward spiral as he struggles to accept the reality of Lola’s death.

Monday’s episode (June 26) saw a struggling Billy lash out at Jay and Honey, accusing them of mistreating her throughout her life as he admitted he couldn’t bring himself to visit her at the funeral home.

Tension were heightened as Lola’s funeral loomed the following day, and fans are now predicting that he is set to hit rock bottom.

“I really don’t want to see Billy starting off from rock bottom again. We’ve seen it so many times already,” said one fan.

“Billy is in pain and is lashing out. This is only going to get worse,’ said another.

A third penned: “Billy is being really horrible here – remember it’s the grief talking. Billy has been through so much sadness this past year I feel like he’s gunna spiral.”

Honey discovered a downhearted Billy all by himself outside the funeral parlour later that day.

She provided him with words of encouragement, urging him to bid a final farewell to his granddaughter.

Another major clue that Billy is set to hit rock bottom is his mysterious absence at Lola’s funeral tomorrow.

Billy will be nowhere to be seen as Lola’s hearse will arrive, adorned with flowers and colorful messages left by the residents of Walford.

The ceremony will be a celebration of Lola’s life, with emotional speeches from Jay and Lexi.

Afterwards, the residents of Walford will return to The Square for a celebration of Lola’s life, just as she wished.

A fatigued Jay will later retreat to No.18, desperate to record a final live stream on her channel, thanking her followers for their support.

Whether Billy turns up remains to be seen, but Jay will unsurprisingly also struggle to deal with his immense grief during the week of the funeral.

He will head to The Vic, but will soon be sent home by a concerned Gina and Linda, who will encourage him to sober up.

After the service, Jay will struggle to deal with his emotions and the extent of his sadness.

Lexi will be consumed with worry for Jay and will push Ben and Billy away when they try to cheer her up.
