Love Island fans have been left rather concerned for Whitney Adebayo as she breaks down over Mehdi Edno’s exit in upcoming scenes.
During Tuesday night’s episode (June 27), Whitney and her fellow islanders were left speechless when they discovered that Mehdi and Mal Nicol was dumped from the island after receiving the fewest public votes.
Distraught by the decision, Whitney was clearly left in a state of shock, as her partner Mehdi encouraged her to stay in the villa to find love.

However, in tonight’s episode (June 28), entrepreneur Whitney will be seen breaking down in tears as her fellow islanders try their best to console her.
But now that fans have seen the preview clip on social media, some viewers have questioned whether they should have tried to save Mehdi so he can continue to explore his connection with Whitney.
Taking to Twitter, concerned viewers shared their thoughts.
One social media user wrote: “Not our girl Whitney full on CRYING??? You know what now that I think about it maybe we shouldn’t have gotten rid of Mehdi you could see she GENUINELY liked him a lot.”
Another said: “We got rid of him too early. Like damn wait till after Casa at least.”
A third said: “How are people surprised that Whitney really liked Mehdi? It was so evident, girl tolerated all his bs and really tried to make things work.”
While a fourth added: “People forget that we only see an hour of their day so we can’t correctly judge someone’s character based on edited footage. whitney & mehdi were cute and one of the most solid couples in there.”
Later on in the show, Whitney makes an emotional confession and says: “Mehdi leaving tonight has definitely thrown a spanner in my works.
“We just decided to start afresh, and it was just bad timing. I never thought it would have been Mehdi.”
However, her tears don’t last too long as Whitney later plucks up the courage to pull Zachariah Noble for a chat in the den during tonight’s episode.
