Coronation Street viewers seem to think they know the real reason behind Lauren Bolton’s return as they believe she will use Max Turner to change his evidence in court.
On Wednesday night’s show (June 28), Lauren left fans stunned when she made an unexpected return to the cobbles.
Telling Max where she’s been, she later revealed that she had been sleeping rough after she decided to leave her mum’s house.

But although Max appeared to feel sorry for her, viewers seemed to think that she could be potentially using Max for when her father Griff’s court case comes to light.
Heading over to Twitter, eagle-eyed viewers shared their thoughts.
One fan said: “Lauren is back to make sure max doesn’t make things worse for Griff and her dad when sentencing happens.”
Another penned: “If you help Lauren Max then your evidence will be discredited because she will say that by helping her you are still part of the group and believe in their agenda. Odd that she turns up out of the blue just before sentencing.”
A third chimed: “That’s why Lauren’s back. She’s going to try to persuade him not to give evidence against her dad!”

While another added: “Instead of listening to Lauren drip poison in his ear, Max should tell her to stop talking and go back from whence she came.”
Despite receiving warnings from Shona and his new girlfriend Sabrina, Max still felt the need to help Lauren.
Later on in the show, Max told Shona that he told Lauren that he’s moved on and won’t be seeing her again.

But by the end of the show, Max decided to help Lauren with a place to stay and decided to let her stay in hair salon overnight.
Seeing Max take the risk, one fan wrote on Twitter: “Max letting Lauren sleep in the salon will not end well.”
While another said: “Lauren locked inside the hairdresser’s??”
Lauren and Max began their relationship after Max was being groomed by Lauren’s father Griff who was a part of a racist gang.
