Lorraine Kelly was joined by Caitlin Moran on her famous sofa on the ITV show.
The pair spoke about Caitlin’s new book What About Men? as they addressed different things that men need support with, but one chapter saw something very unexpected.

Speaking to the author, Lorraine said: “There was one very interesting chapter about willies, which I found utterly fascinating. You had to tell a fella that he was circumcised? He didn’t know what it was?”
Caitlin responded: “Yes! He had no idea. We were lying around afterwards and he wanted to know because men don’t get to see that many other willies, whereas we’re willy experts, we see quite a lot.”
Lorraine, appearing very red-faced, was saying: “Yeah that’s true, that’s true,” before appearing to stifle back a laugh as she said: “Mhm!” in response to the comments.
Caitlin went on to explain the awkward moment as she said: “He was just asking about other willies that I’d seen and I was describing them and I sort of mentioned that he was my third circumcised willy.”
She explained that the man was bewildered to discover he was circumcised and added she even had to explain what a non-circumcised penis looks like.
Caitlin said she told him it was like a “little willy jumper”.
Elsewhere in the show the pair spoke about the male role models that men have and particularly addressed body image issues.
Caitlin explained that women have “come a long way” with body image, telling Lorraine that women will often walk a red carpet and take their heels off because they’ve decided not to wear them anymore, but for men things are a little different.
She said: “Now you’ve got the Marvel movies and I was having dinner with a director and he explained the regimes these male actors have to go through now.”
The author explained that the men have to be so strong and are on a strict diet to get their body ready for the films, adding to Lorraine: “This is what our teenage boys are looking at.
“Women are ahead of men in the unrealistic beauty expectations and we can have a laugh about it, and that’s what I want for boys now.”
Caitlin’s book is available to buy from July 6.
Lorraine continues weekdays on ITV at 9am.
