Madonna has been left “vomiting uncontrollably” and she is “too sick to leave her bed” after a major health scare.

The star was rushed to hospital on Saturday after she was unfortunately found “unresponsive” in New York with her manager confirming that she was suffering from a “serious bacterial infection” that needed a days-long stay in the ICU.

The legendary singer, who was all set to commence her whopping 84-date Celebration tour in Canada on July 15, was faced with the health scare on “Saturday”, when she was ‘taken to the ICU’ and ‘intubated overnight,” shared Page Six.

According to TMZ a source claimed: “Madonna’s been vomiting uncontrollably since being discharged from the hospital, and the infection is still wreaking havoc on her body.”

They claimed she was “still too sick to get out of her bed.”

This comes after it was confirmed that she has been sent home from the hospital but is still under medical care.

The Like a Virgin singer traveled to hospital by private ambulance to her residence in New York after being discharged.

It has also been reported that Madonna’s eldest daughter, Lourdes Leon, 26, remained by her side throughout her hospitalisation.

Madonna’s manager Guy Oseary took to Instagram, where he announced that the musician had pushed back her widely-anticipated 40th-anniversary tour due to her medical complication.

He told fans through his post that the Hung Up singer is “expected to make a full recovery” and that her “health is improving”, but revealed that she is “still under medical care”.

Guy revealed: “On Saturday, June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several-day stay in the ICU,’ he wrote on Wednesday afternoon.

“Her health is improving; however, she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected.”

“At this time, we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour.”
