Taylor Swift could be forced to spend a chunk of her Eras tour earnings on fines of more than $3,000, according to reports.
The Love Story songstress has reportedly let the trash build-up outside her home in New York City get so bad that she’s been ticketed an eye-watering 32 times.
Taylor has been accused of failing to keep the area in front of her building clean, and the fines now total $3,010 (£2,370).

According to city records, her garage has received the most sanitation fines for any building on her block.
The fines, issued by New York’s Sanitation Department, were reportedly handed to the singer between January 2018 and January 2023, with inspectors pointing out a dirty pavement outside her three-floor townhouse.

She’s also allegedly “improperly disposed of garbage”.
The New York Post alleges that a “stream of grime” appeared outside Swift’s home, comprised of napkins, newspapers, bottles, cardboard and wrappers.
Also included in the piles were a cigarette carton and “scattered ashtray contents”.
One dog walker told the publication: “She doesn’t care about leaving trash out. I think she’s more focused on her multi-million dollar tour.”

Taylor has spent almost $30million renovating the townhouse, converting the property into a private entrance with a huge penthouse and condominium next door.
And she’s solely responsible for keeping it clean.
However, fans have leapt to Taylor’s defence – blaming the trash on fans waiting outside her property to get a glimpse of the star.

One suggested: “It’s probably the fans waiting for her and smoking while they’re bored. She doesn’t even smoke!”
Taylor has a total of eight homes – four in New York City, a seaside estate in Rhode Island, a mansion in Beverly Hills and a sprawling estate in Nashville.
She also has a penthouse in Nashville, Tennessee.
And with a whopping net worth of $570million, we don’t expect the sanitation fines will take much of a chunk out of her earnings.
