Coronation Street star Denise Black was rushed to hospital after breaking her arm and foot following a horrific fall.
The 65-year-old actress, best known for playing Denise Osbourne in the ITV soap, has taken to social media to thank the doctors and nurses who helped her following the accident.
Sharing an update with fans with a series of snaps, including X-Ray scans, she penned: “Now I’m mending I can tell you. I broke my wonky arm.

“As I fell I dropped what I was carrying which broke my foot. Know Hoffnung’s Bricklayers joke? Google it. I am that joke.
“Humungous shout out to doctors and nurses far and wide, very especially our beloved NHS.
“You make humans seem like GOOD people. Great news is I’m still filming. Even better news is I’m mending.
“Sure, I may be wonkier than before, but in truth, aren’t all the best people? Inside and out #embraceyourwonkiness #thankyounhs.”
Fans rushed to send a support message to Denise following her message.
“Oh no! Wishing you a miraculous speedy recovery,” said one social media user.
While another added: “And you’re still smiling. What a trouper. Wishing you a speedy recovery.”
Someone else posted: “Oh Denise! You are a calamity. Bless you. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Lots of love.”
Denise played Daniel Osbourne’s (Rob Mallard) mother in Corrie on and off from 1992 until 2007.
Her biggest storyline included her rocky relationship with Ken Barlow (William Roache).
Ken had an affair with Denise during the nineties but was left broken hearted after he learnt that she had a fling with her brother in law.
She also played Joanie Dingle in rival soap Emmerdale in between 2013 until 2017.
The TV personality currently filming new Disney+ TV show named Rivals.
Denise played the character Joyce Madden in the remarke of the classic series, which also stars Danny Dyer, Emily Atack, David Tennant and Aidan Turner.
The soap star has opened up about her health battles in recent years.
However, Denise credited a good diet and exercise with helping alleviate her issues, saying that she would often jog while filming Benidorm, complete Pilates and changing her eating habits.
