Tipping Point viewers fume ‘it’s an outage’ as things go horribly wrong for ‘fit’ player

Tipping Point viewers were left smitten over a “cute” player – but things soon took a turn for the worse.

The hit ITV gameshow was back on TV screens on Wednesday (July 5) as host Ben Shephard welcomed four new players onto the show.

As fans tuned in for the primetime programme, the GMB host introduced contestants Lorraine, Frankie, Andy and Adam before they battled it out to take bag some serious cash.

But it seems fitness instructor Frankie got plenty of the viewer’s attention at home – who rushed to Twitter to gush over her.

“The fitness instructor is fit,” gushed one fan, as someone else said: “Frankie is a bit of alright.”

However, it wasn’t Frankie’s lucky day as she ended up getting the boot after the first round.

And fans of the long-running ITV gameshow were not happy to say their goodbyes to Frankie.

“Awww the cute one goes out. It’s an outrage,” said one person.

Fans were swooning over the player

A second echoed their thoughts: “That’s a shame.”

Lorraine was the next player to get the boot from the ITV show – leaving Adam and Andy battling it out for a place in the final.

After a tense round, it was Brummie Andy who ended up coming up triumphs – heading into the final with £1500 already bagged in his bank.

In the end, Andy scored £2,000 but had no luck getting closer to that all-important jackpot counter.

As a result, he decided to stick with the two grand – something he said he will spend on a holiday to Portugal.

It comes after fans were left baffled by an opening statement from ITV presenter Ben Shephard earlier on this week.

As the arcade style gameshow returned to screens on Monday (July 3), host Ben gave viewers an update as he revealed it was part of a “new” series with changes made to the familiar series.

However, fans were confused over what changes have been made to the daytime quiz show, with many turning to social media to question what is “new” about the gameshow as they spot the episode is in fact a two year old rerun.
