Coronation Street’s Stephanie Davis dropped a major hint about her character’s hidden family link ahead of her debut on the famous Cobbles later this month.
Back in May, ITV bosses announced the raven-haired beauty would be joining the cobbles as powerful businesswoman Courtney Vance with her wealthy husband Darren.
And it doesn’t take long for her bubbly character to make herself at home on the show when she makes friends with Aadi Alahan.

However, things between them quickly turn from friendship into something more physical as the pair begin a racy affair behind her husband’s back.
Now, in an interview with Daily Star and other press, the former Hollyoaks star has shared how welcoming the cast have been to her since she joined.
When asked which actors helped her feel at home on the ITV set, she revealed: “Obviously the other day I got to see Claire Sweeney as well, a fellow Scouser who had also got into the show so it was amazing to see her.”
She went on to reveal that fans have already started sending her theories about her character weeks before she is due to join the street.
The soap star went on: “In fact, I’ve had so many messages in my DMs because she’s Scouse and I’m Scouse.
“They’re going, ‘This is it – you’re going in as her daughter’ you know trying to put all the dots together.
“And I’m reading all this and I’m like this is all so good, so who knows, we’ll have to wait and see!”

The role is a major soap comeback for the actress following her second departure from Hollyoaks as Sinead O’Connor in 2020 due to personal issues.
Reality TV fans will also remember Stephanie from her memorable stint on Celebrity Big Brother as well as the BBC talent search competition Over the Rainbow.
Speaking of her arrival on the show, she gushed: “I am absolutely delighted to be joining the cast of Coronation Street, playing the part of Courtney Vance.
“Growing up I have always watched and loved the show, so to be part of the biggest TV soap in Britain, which is in the hearts and homes of so many people, is an honour.”
