Love Island star exposes villa for horrifying shower scenes which made her sick

Love Island star Summer Botwe has revealed just how gross the ITV villa showers are.

Talking exclusively to the Daily Star, Summer confirmed that the showers were the worst thing about her stay.

Summer said: “The shower is disgusting, when I first got there, I didn’t even shower inside because I couldn’t do it.

“I don’t know if they didn’t have a cleaner the day we came in from Casa, but there were hairs in the plug, on the side, razors all on the side – which had hair in them. They made me feel sick.

“It’s the fact it’s between women and men as well, two separate showers would make life so much better.”

She continued: “The downstairs toilet, which everyone uses in the night and the boys also used it to brush their teeth before bed, there were always beard hairs in the sink.

“That side of things is just grim. When I got there, I was like ‘No way, I can’t do it’.

“The toilets are actually ok, the girls’ one in the dressing room is fine, but I wouldn’t use the outside one as that’s the one that gets annihilated the most.”

Summer also recalled feeling “singled out” by ITV bosses after being banned from her from wearing her bikini.

As she entered the show last year as a Casa Amor bombshell, Summer was forced to wear a swimsuit when all of the other girls were allowed to wear bikinis.

Summer explained: “They wouldn’t let me wear the bikini that I wanted to walk in, which was annoying because I wanted to look 10/10.

“You had to send them three options when you’re n lockdown with your chaperone and they chose the one I didn’t want to wear.

“It didn’t look bad but I was the only one in a swimsuit, and I just felt like ‘Why am I being singled out here?'”

Summer also opened up about the difficulties she faced when coming onto the show as a Casa Amor bombshell.

She said: “I think when you go into Casa, you are going to be a villain regardless of what happens because you have to break up a couple.

“And with that happening you’re already a villain and when you come out things that are said the public will take and twist and change and have their own opinion on it.

“As a Casa person, we aren’t public favourites and unfortunately, the couple I broke up are a very strong couple and have a very big social media presence.

“So, I think the backlash and death threats came from their fans.”
